- I’m leaving town at any minute (the cops are after me) so this post is going to be brief, possibly truncated, and almost certainly incoherent. Just so you know.
- The March for Life is today, in Washington, D.C. The March and I are passing one another like ships in the night—I’ll get to the city on Tuesday—but my mom is there right now, and I’m so proud of her. I’m not even sure I would have the fortitude to brave two overnight bus trips just to walk a mile in support of unborn human life, and I’m 22 years old. I can’t imagine doing it at…well, a little bit older than 22 years old. Yay, Mom! (p.s. Thanks for choosing life for me and my five siblings!)
- This morning I had coffee with a friend from looooong ago—like, we were in the same preschool playgroup—whom I haven’t seen in almost a decade. Old much? Yikes.
- Confession: I am really bad at clothes. I have a visceral aversion to making myself conspicuous, so I tend not to be very adventurous when it comes to fashion choices. (Actually, I tend not to be very adventurous when it comes to most things. Huh.) I am discovering that compiling a professional wardrobe is kind of difficult when things like ruffles and patterns are outside one’s comfort zone.
Bah! Time to go. More quick takes here. Kisses!

You are going to look AWESOME in your new professional attire! I can't wait to see you! The only thing that may be missing is a yellow plaid jumper (that's my mom's suggestion). But don't worry - I'm sure we'll be able to find one at some thrift shop in Washington. :-) xoxo
